Dr. Krystle King
Dr. Krystle King opened King Veterinary Clinic in April 2016. She is a third generation veterinarian and a LaGrange, Indiana native. She moved back to the area after practicing in Nashville, Tennessee for nearly 5 years after graduating from Purdue University’s School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. King’s special interests include surgery and canine theriogenology (reproduction). She also has a passion for shelter medicine and animal rescue/rehoming. Currently, she serves as a veterinary advisor on Purdue’s Board for the Canine Care Certified Program. This program is a nationwide, voluntary program that addresses the health and overall welfare of dogs in the care of breeders in the United States. It is the only program that not only incorporates measures of the physical health of dogs and puppies raised by breeders, but also strongly emphasizes their behavioral well-being.
In her spare time, Dr. King enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, biking, hiking and being on the water. She has a small herd of special needs pets at home, including Lucy, the two legged wonder dog!
Dr. Bernie Eberle
Dr. Eberle joined our team in 2018, having returned to his home state of Indiana. After graduation from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine he practiced for four years in North Carolina and two in Alaska, on patients from dogs and dairy cows to cats and carribou!
Dr. Eberle now focuses on small animals with particular interest in surgery and is currently developing his orthopedic skill set. When not working you can usually find him enjoying the outdoors, fishing and spending time with his dog Juneau.
Dr. Jalen King
Dr. Jalen King (brother to Dr. Krystle King) also decided to follow in the family footsteps and joined our staff in May of 2019 after graduating from Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. King is a mixed animal veterinarian, working primarily on equine and small animals. He has a special interest in equine and canine reproduction, but also enjoys equine and small animal medicine and surgery. With his recent addition to the clinic, Dr. King looks forward to expanding some of the equine services offered here at King Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. King is very passionate about the outdoors and enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and boating. He has one dog, Creed, who is a lifesaver himself, as he occasionally serves as a blood donor here at KVC!
Dr. Alex Hegg
Dr. Alex Hegg joined our practice in July of 2020. Dr. Hegg is an Indiana native who, upon graduation from the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, practiced mixed small and large animal in central Indiana before moving to Lagrange.
Dr. Hegg enjoys working with both large and small animals and has specific interests in cattle medicine, herd health, and reproduction, as well as equine and small animal medicine and surgery. He is very excited to help expand the livestock services provided at our clinic.
In his free time, you can find Dr. Hegg outdoors hunting, fishing, working with his cattle, or hanging out with his dog Holly.
