Veterinarians

Dr. Jalen King

Dr. Jalen King also decided to follow in the family footsteps and joined our staff in May of 2019 after graduating from Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. King is a mixed animal veterinarian, working primarily on equine and small animals. He has a special interest in equine and canine reproduction, but also enjoys equine and small animal medicine and surgery. With his recent addition to the clinic, Dr. King looks forward to expanding some of the equine services offered here at King Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. King is very passionate about the outdoors and enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and boating. He has one dog, Creed, who is a lifesaver himself, as he occasionally serves as a blood donor here at KVC!

Dr. Alex Hegg

Dr. Alex Hegg joined our practice in July of 2020. Dr. Hegg is an Indiana native who, upon graduation from the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, practiced mixed small and large animal in central Indiana before moving to Lagrange.

Dr. Hegg enjoys working with both large and small animals and has specific interests in cattle medicine, herd health, and reproduction, as well as equine and small animal medicine and surgery. He is very excited to help expand the livestock services provided at our clinic.

In his free time, you can find Dr. Hegg outdoors hunting, fishing, working with his cattle, or hanging out with his dog Holly.
